WEEKEND OVER IN HAVANA

This short stay, three to four days in the capital city will help you to have a glimpse of the potential of a city that has survived equidistant times within its history. Our team will provide all the information you need and more.
This experience will include a walking tour of the vibrant old town, where you will be dazzled by its architectural wonders. You will also enjoy a ride in a convertible old car through what is called Modern Havana, the waterfront and some areas of western Havana.
You will be able to do an excursion to the unique town of Las Terrazas, located one hour outside Havana, where you will be able to learn about this economic and social project, and as a fun activity you will swim at the famous San Juan River.
At some point in your visit you will check the Fine Arts Museum or an art gallery, and the handcrafts market by the harbor.
The evenings will be filled with music at La Zorra y El Cuervo jazz club, Jazz Café club, and Fabrica de Arte Cubano, one of the most famous art and music complexes in Cuba and the world.
Food won’t be an issue, we will give a list of options, including vegetarian, seafood and farm-to-table restaurants. We’ll facilitate reservations at the time of your choice.
Transportation will also be arranged by our team.
By the end of this trip you will be willing for more, learning more, traveling more and discovering more of this treasure island in the middle of the Caribbean.

Details

Day 1

• Arrival in Havana. Pick up at the airport by a guide or a taxi driver.
• Check-in at a casa particular (private accommodation).
• If early (5-6 pm), a convertible tour ride can be done to see the sunset (without a guide).
• If very late, then an orientation or information meeting with the concierge or guide to discuss the itinerary.

Day 2

• Departure for Las Terrazas.
• Tour of the natural reserve and lunch at a local restaurant.
• Return to Havana.
• Walking city tour with a local guide (2 ½ hours).
• Free time/craft market.
• Cultural show (options include Zorra y Cuervo, Jazz Café, FAC; others available at the time).

Day 3

• Depending on the flight time: short visit to the National Museum of Fine Arts or visit an artist’s gallery in the morning.
• Check out.
• Departure for the airport.
