Welcome to IterCuba, a travel agency operated by Pontis Trade Kft, a company registered in Hungary. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and website. By booking a trip with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Definitions

• “You”, “Your”: Refer to the customer or any user of our services.

3. Booking and Payment

• Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once we receive a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost.
• Payment Terms: The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the departure date. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified by us.
• Late Payments: If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refunding your deposit.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Customer Cancellations:
  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund minus the deposit.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
• Company Cancellations: If we cancel the trip for any reason other than force majeure, you will receive a full refund.

5. Changes to Bookings

• Customer-Initiated Changes: Any changes requested by you will be subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
• Company-Initiated Changes: We reserve the right to make minor changes to your itinerary. In the event of significant changes, you will be notified and offered alternatives or a full refund.

6. Travel Documentation

• Passports and Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports and any required visas for travel to Cuba. We can provide guidance but cannot obtain these documents for you.
• Health Requirements: You are responsible for meeting all health requirements, including vaccinations, and carrying necessary medical documentation.

7. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all our travelers. It must cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation. Proof of insurance must be provided before departure.

8. Liability

• Our Responsibility: We are responsible for providing the services listed in your itinerary. However, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that occurs during your trip.
• Your Responsibility: You agree to comply with all local laws and regulations during your trip. Any damages caused by you will be your responsibility.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such failure is due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Complaints

If you have any complaints during your trip, please inform your tour guide or our local representative immediately. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us in writing within 30 days of your return.

11. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts.
